Preparation
- Melt the chocolate and butter in a bowl over a water bath, then allow to cool.
- Whisk the eggs into the chocolate and butter mixture.
- Stir the espresso into the chocolate and butter mixture.
- Mix the sugar, salt, flour, baking powder and cocoa in a bowl and stir into the chocolate mixture spoonful by spoonful, alternating with sour cream, until a thick dough forms.
- Preheat the waffle iron and brush thoroughly with oil using a pastry brush.
- Bake the chocolate dough in portions to make waffles, then leave the waffles to cool on a wire rack.
- Whip the cream until stiff
- Decorate the brownie waffles with fresh berries and whipped cream, then serve.
